The Blytheville Police Department is sad to announce the loss of K9 Niko due to an unexpected and sudden health issue. Niko was 7 years old and a 5 year veteran of the Blytheville Police Department. During his career he successfully tracked many fleeing suspects and removed a large amount of elicit drugs from our streets. While those are great accomplishments Niko will be best remembered for having the sweetest disposition of any K9 this department has ever seen. We will miss you buddy
