Blytheville Waterworks is comprised of the three departments: a Business Office, water Treatment Plant and Distribution Plant.
Business Office Responsibilities
Billing and collecting for Water, Sewer & Trash Services for the citizens of Blytheville.
Making all Water Works reports to the local, state, and federal governments
Functions of Treatment Plant
The treatment plant purifies and chemically treats the water for human consumption, then pump it to the system for distribution.
Functions of Distribution Plant
Maintain and repair all distribution lines providing water to the citizens of Blytheville.
Treatment Capacity
The treatment plants are designed to produce 6 million gallons a day. Providing service to 7,200 customers living inside and outside city limits.
Service Area
The water distribution system provides water for the City of Blytheville, the City of Yarbro, Northeast Mississippi County Water Association and Dogwood Water.
